Maria Pineda serves the students at Los Fresnos United as Principal for the 2024-2025 school year. She has been part of the Los Fresnos CISD family since 2007. Ms. Pineda served as a Special Education Teacher, Instructional Officer, and Principal. Ms. Pineda received her Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies degree from UTB and her Master of Special Education from UTB.
Ms. Pineda is privileged to lead Los Fresnos United and the many talented teachers and students at the campus. She aims to provide a supportive climate and culture at Los Fresnos United that is conducive to teaching and learning. By doing so, the Los Fresnos United students and teachers can experience growth to their highest potential.
Ms. Pineda looks forward to serving the Los Fresnos Community in the upcoming school year as the blessed Los Fresnos United Principal.
Hello everyone. It is with great pleasure that I am able to serve the community of Los Fresnos Texas. My name is Peter Guerrero and I have been a proud Falcon since 2015. I am currently the Assistant Principal at Los Fresnos United. It is an honor to be able to assist our students, community, and district in achieving great educational experiences for all. I bring to the table a total of 25 years of educational experience at various levels. I have served as a teacher, coach and now assistant principal. My main goal is for all of our students to experience and gain the knowledge needed to strive in today’s modern world. I look forward to working with everyone in achieving great success this school year.
Juan Diego Luna serves the students at Los Fresnos United as assistant principal for the 2024-2025 school year. Mr. Luna has been part of the Los Fresnos CISD family since 2010. During his career in public education, which began in 2010, Mr. Luna served as a teacher, head coach, and dean of instruction. Prior to his current role, Mr. Luna taught science and US history at Resaca Middle School and Los Fresnos High School. Mr. Luna received his bachelor's degree in psychology from The University of Texas at San Antonio and his master's in organizational leadership from Our Lady of the Lake University.
Mr. Peña serves the students at Los Fresnos United as Assistant Principal for the 2024-2025 school year. Mr. Peña has been part of the Los Fresnos CISD family since 2023. During their career in public education that began in 1995, Mr. Pena has served as a classroom teacher first in Los Fresnos and then in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Mr. Peña has also served as a Head Varsity Baseball Coach, a Middle School Athletic Coordinator, Assistant Principal. Prior to their current role, they were employed as Assistant Principal at A+ Charter Schools Inc. since 2019. Mr. Pena received their Bachelor of Arts degree from UTRGV and his Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Lamar University.
For the 2024-2025 school year, Dr. Trevino will serve the students of Los Fresnos United as an Assistant Principal. Dr. Trevino has been part of the Los Fresnos CISD family since 2010. During her career in public education that began in 2008, Dr. Trevino has served as a life skills unit paraprofessional, bilingual elementary teacher, Dean of Instruction, and Assistant Principal. Dr. Trevino received her Doctorate Degree from Our Lady of the Lake in Organizational Leadership.
Christina Ramos serves the students at Los Fresnos United as the Dean of Instruction for the 2024-2025 school year. Ms. Ramos has been part of the Los Fresnos CISD family since 2012. During her career in public education that began in 2001, Ms. Ramos served as a 3rd and 5th grade teacher. Prior to her current role, she was the Instructional Officer at Laureles Elementary from 2013-2016. Ms. Ramos received her Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Texas - Pan American and her Master of Education degree from The University of Texas at Brownsville.
